From Da Nang to Bach Ma National Park by car will take about 1 hour 40 minutes (65 kilometers). Unlike taking the train or bus, having your own private car Da Nang to Bach Ma with professional driver is safe, convenient and best of all, flexible around your needs. This transfer includes your driver patiently waiting for you as you trek to the summit, explore the jungle and discover French villas and waterfalls hidden in the mountain.
Visit Bach Ma National Park and you’ll be awed at the sub-tropical and tropical evergreen forest, home to more than 1400 species of plants and 132 kinds of mammals.
The area saw some heavy fighting and defoliation during the Vietnam war and took more than 40 years to recover. Now, it remains a true paradise for nature lovers and will give you an adventure into one of the most well-preserved natural reserves in Vietnam

Tour Itinerary
Our driver will pick up you on time at your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An and start the day tour to Bach Ma National Park.
We will drive you up to the Hai Van pass – This magnificent 21 kilometer road winding along the mountain side between Hue and Danang is a must-see. “Top Gears” Jeremy Clarkson labelled it as “an abandoned ribbon of perfection – one of the best coastal roads in the world”. Additionally, the pass offers amazing photo opportunities at the highest point when traveling from Danang to Hue by car.
We will then continue the tour and explore Bach Ma Museum before entering the National Park which gives us access to the Zero KM at Vong Hai Dai (the Sea Observatory) to have a panoramic view of Bach Ma Mountain, Tam Giang lagoon, and Truc Lam Zen Monastery.
Along the 17-km drive to the mountain’s summit, you’ll see the spectacular beauty of the natural reserves, and if lucky enough to watch exotic animals that were only discovered in the 1990s: the antelope-like saola, the Truong Son muntjac and the giant muntjac, along with 9 species of primates such as the rare red-shanked Douc langur.
Follow a trekking trail to Vong Hai Dai to see Cau Hai lagoon, Phu Loc town, and the majestic Truong Son Mountain right in front of your eyes.
From Vong Hai Dai, continue trekking and bypassing steep slopes to reach Ngu Ho – the five beautiful lakes at five different levels, just beneath the cascading falls where you can swim in the crystal-clear cold water.
Still not enough trekking? Climb the 900 steep steps to reach the symbolic 300-meter Do Quyen waterfall and be enchanted at the breathtaking beauty of the green tropical forest embracing the whole national park.
When you complete the tour and return to Da Nang city or Hoi An town.
